- Ergonomics & Frame Texturing: The frame features a more aggressive RTF6 grip texture paired with a pronounced, built-in palm swell and an integrated extended beavertail to prevent slide bite. It also incorporates molded thumb rests (gas pedals) on the front of the frame to assist with support-hand recoil management.
- Flat-Faced Trigger: Moving away from the traditional curved shoe, the Gen6 features a standard flat-faced trigger designed for more consistent finger placement and a shorter, cleaner trigger reach.
- Direct-Mount Optics System: The Gen6 optics-ready system has been completely redesigned to allow red dot optics to sit deeper into the slide for a lower bore axis. It modifies the extractor layout so optics can screw directly into the slide, eliminating the stacking tolerances and plate issues of the older MOS system.
- Slide & Control Refinements: The slide boasts steeper, deeper front and rear serrations for easier manipulation. Additionally, a deeper trigger guard undercut raises the shooter’s hand placement to mitigate “Glock knuckle”
